Our Timber
For almost 20 years Ironwood Australia (formerly Rozelle Recycled Building Centre), has sought out and recycled rare old seasoned Australian hardwood timbers, from historic buildings and bridges. Our recycled timbers create stunning floorboards, timber decks, stairs, benchtops and structural timbers.
Now, due to the ever-growing demand we also source reclaimed-timbers, which are recovered from devastated woodlands, and new timbers, sourced from regrowth forests. Being environmentally aware we make it our business to know the regrowth forests are being managed properly using environmentally sustainable practices, which are regulated and administered by our various State Governments and the independent timber mills that we support.

Our own milling facility also ensure that you can access the most comprehensive range of colours, species, wood character and sizes in either reclaimed or new regrowth timbers.
